Hello  guys!!!! So, you all know my twin right? And I'm sure you all know how AMAZING she is at wig styling, riiiight? Well she's entered a contest for Coscraft all about wig styling, and she DEFINITELY deserves to win! Especially with the amazing Carpenter wig she made for my brother. "…here's a post about the Coscraft Wig Masters! Before I go sounding like a hypocrite considering the statements I made about how unideal the whole "only mass networking = votes" thing is in the OH contest, I'd like to explain what I really respect and appreciate about Coscraft's contest.

Well firstly it's a wig contest, and that's easily my favorite part of cosplay! But what really makes this contest fair and well-rounded is that only a portion of the score goes to how many Likes you can get on Facebook! The rest-- and, if I'm not mistaken, majority-- of the points come from the judges scoring each entry on the wigs themselves! Meaning that they take into consideration the accuracy, the time it took, and the styling techniques themselves.

As you can tell from the photos above, I entered the most recent wig I styled-- my brother's wig for the Carpenter from Alice: Madness Returns! I considered entering several other wigs instead, but what I like to keep my progress photos saved as collages to compress space, and collages were not allowed in this contest. But I'm really happy with how Carpenter turned out, so the choice wasn't too difficult! And just look at how handsome my bro is! :3

Now, I entered this contest very late, and the current front runner has SO MANY VOTES! But Coscraft is generously awarding prizes to the runner ups as well, and I always love the opportunity to try and get some free wigs! <3 Sooo many wiiiigs~!
